Casey and Aaron got together in the middle of the day, opened a couple beers at an hour when most citizens worth anything are at work, and talked about a bunch of silly things. They both think that JJ Watt should be the MVP of the NFL this year, and they also have a discussion about who the best looking quarterbacks in the NFL are. They talk about Marcus Mariota and the potential that he goes to the Bucs, and also have an extended discussion about the stupidity of Johnny Manziel, and what it would ultimately cost to bring Josh Gordon to Seattle.
As promised, here is the poll about the aforementioned good looking quarterbacks.
Today was a special day, as Casey and Matt Erickson consummated a bro-lationship that has been on the precipice of eroticism for years. Matt met Aaron and Casey in Tacoma, enjoyed some beers, and talked about many things, most of which included sports.
Another week, another set of sports stories poorly analyzed by Casey and Aaron. We recorded before the Howie Kendrick trade, but we were able to talk about Nelson Cruz, John Jaso, Jon Lester, the comparative attractiveness of Max Scherzer and James Shields, the Oakland A’s moves, and Melky Cabrera. We also took some time to talk about how Aaron’s favorite football team, the Tampa Bay Bucs and their potential to get the opportunity to draft Marcus Mariota, and as the title promises, we found a loose and irresponsibly inaccurate link between Johnny Manziel and Adolf Hitler.
Alex Akita came down to our dining room studios and talked about a lot of things, many of which aren’t embodied by this podcast’s title. We talked about the Mariners, baseball in general, the NFL, the 12th Man, the Washington Huskies, and sprinkled in some talk about being a celebrity on Twitter.
This week Aaron and Casey talk about Corey Kluber and the perception that Felix Hernandez got snubbed, the validity of Lord of the Rings as a good movie, “The ‘Pen” at Safeco Field, and ESPN’s blatant ripoff of Daniel Tosh, among other things.
